Welcome to the IMA’s Online School for the Medical Professions – where innovation and medicine meet to address your needs: physicians, medical students and medical professionals.
The Online School for the Medical Professions was established in May 2020 to create a place for training, teaching and study, designed for the 21st century – enabling each of you to study at the place, time and pace suitable for you, at any hour of any day, 24/7.
You’ll find activities, courses and training at the school that are appropriate for you, all under a single roof, via advanced technology and a user-friendly interface.

This domain is divided according to the professional associations and societies operating in the framework of the IMA and the various specializations.
The domain is the spearhead of the complex and established transition to an achievement-based specialization in which the learning content is spread over the years of specialization in a gradual and structured way that continually tests the medical resident’s achievements.
The domain is one of the important sources of imparting knowledge and content to medical residents, while monitoring and recording the acquisition of knowledge. All of the content in this domain is open for viewing at no cost.

The Scientific Council coordinates courses for the medical residents and training in important core skills for those pursuing the medical profession, regardless of the field of specialization.
These are skills that every physician must acquire and master in order to fully develop his or her professional abilities.

The school’s content is original content developed and created for the Online School by expert professionals in each field.
The school operates in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the HMOs, the universities and many professional associations throughout the world. It is part of the existing framework of study and certainly does not aim to replace it. It was founded with the shared objective of boosting knowledge and advancing the level of medicine in Israel.
Online learning is intended to address the difficulty stemming from the great amount of knowledge you’re required to acquire, together with the load of work hours and the heterogeneity of the various specialization programs in Israeli hospitals.
